Xty Nana Yaa Agyare, aka NYA The Brand, is a Ghanaian Songstress & Actress. A trained journalist with a Masters Degree in Journalism, a songwriter, screenwriter & MC. She has featured in movies & Tv series in Ghana & Nig including: Accra Medic, Inspector Bediako, 40 & Single, Make Me a Star, Drops of Happiness, Kukesi, The Pressure, The King with No Culture & Award-winning film ‘Heart of a Woman’. NYA has worked as a Journalism Tutor & Dep. Director at Radio Broadcast Dev. Foundation. She worked with Max FM as Programmes Mgr/Presenter, JOY FM, Radio XYZ as a producer & reporter. NYA doubles as a song writer and has composed original sound tracks for movies. She has done a number of musical stage performances and is currently working to release her album.
